Heated seats are very important in the cold season. Sitting in the car, you want warmth in everything. Modern cars mostly have this attribute in their configuration, while older vehicles do not always.
Instructions
Step 1
Purchase a set for heated seats, which contains wiring with connectors for buttons, directly buttons that are installed in the panel and heating elements. Disassemble the passenger compartment for wiring. Remove the shelf that is under the steering wheel, unscrew the screw securing the air duct and disconnect it.
Step 2
Open the glove box, remove it. Also remove the rear cigarette lighter cover. Then unscrew the fasteners of the deflectors and the cigarette lighter, disconnect the connector. Remove the handbrake and gearbox cover by hooking it up with a thin screwdriver.
Step 3
Click off the overlay on the dashboard where the various buttons are located. Find the two loose ones and remove the plugs from them. Pull the center deflectors towards you and remove them. Remove the bolts behind the center air duct.
Step 4
Remove the center panel by unscrewing the bolts on the sides of the transmission stem. Remove the door sill trim covers, then unscrew the bolts with which they were attached to the sills. You will also need to detach the pad for the left foot and then the pad itself. Fold back the cover at the passenger's feet and remove the cover for the ECU box.
Step 5
Route the wiring using cable ties. Fasten the end with connectors in a standard clamp that fits the panel with buttons. Place the connectors into the buttons and snap them into place. Route the wiring harness along the floor along the sill, leading the connector through the trim to the seat.
Step 6
Screw the ground wire to the bolt above the relay box. Connect the blue wire to the central electric unit under the steering column. Connect the red and white wire with the blue connector to the thermal fuse after removing the cover from the relay box. Assemble the interior and install the heating elements in the seats.
