Step 1
Report to the traffic police registration authority at the place of your registration.
Step 2
Go to the window for the initial acceptance of documents, take the application form for registering the vehicle.

Fill out the application. As a rule, there are samples of filling out such applications on the information boards in the registering bodies of the traffic police. And in some MREO there is also an additional service for filling out an application.

Go to the window for the initial submission of documents and submit the application and the necessary documents: civil passport, vehicle passport. If you drive a vehicle under a power of attorney, provide it, if you own a newly purchased vehicle, you need to provide a certificate of invoice for the purchase of the vehicle.
Step 5
Wait for the processing of the package of documents. Take the documents and a receipt for payment of the state duty for the registration of the vehicle.
Step 6
Go to the nearest branch of the nearest bank and pay the state fee. The amount of the state duty depends on which vehicle you are registering. For a car it is 1800 rubles, for a motorcycle 1300 rubles.
Step 7
Go to the Vehicle Inspection Site. Go through the inspection procedure for your vehicle. The result should be a corresponding mark on the registration application.
Step 8
Go to the vehicle registration window. Hand over the package of documents with the application, wait for the processing of documents.
Step 9
Get back the package of documents; the technical device's passport should contain an entry about the new owner. In the same window, get state registration numbers.
