Under the new rules, the scheme for obtaining medical certificates for obtaining or renewing a license to drive a car has become more complicated. What stages does it imply now to obtain a long-awaited certificate for the traffic police?
At present, in addition to the standard set of doctors, whom we have always received at the medical examination, an additional EEG examination (electroencephalogram) has been introduced. It is also now necessary to undergo examination by a narcologist and a psychiatrist at the place of residence.
So, the usual medical commission, which consists of a therapist, ophthalmologist, neurologist, ENT doctor, does not disappear. To pass it, you need to find a licensed institution where you can pass these examinations and get a mark on the official certificate of the established sample, which, by the way, has protective signs and is subject to strict accounting. The cost of such an examination usually ranges from 600 rubles.
Next, you need to go through an EEG. This procedure is performed in many clinics and private medical centers. The price varies from 700 rubles to 2000 (in Moscow). The results of this study are necessary for the mark of a psychiatrist in a neuropsychiatric dispensary at the place of residence.
In addition, the same psychiatrist will also require the results of a psychological examination. This procedure is also paid and in most medical institutions it starts from 700 rubles. Only upon the provision of these results, the psychiatrist will put a mark on the absence of contraindications on the medical certificate (again, the fee for his admission is around 700 rubles).
But that's not all. Now I have to go to the drug treatment clinic and undergo examination by a drug therapist. His services are estimated at 500 rubles. And only after that, your medical certificate for obtaining or renewing your rights can be considered ready. The validity of this certificate is now only 2 years.
As you can see, the procedure has become much more complicated and more expensive. Now it remains to contact the traffic police for registration of rights.
