According to the order of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation No. 831 dated 28.09.10. all drivers who receive or change a driver's license are required to present a new type of medical certificate to the traffic police. It is not necessary to present a certificate when passing a technical inspection.

Step 1
To get a medical certificate, go to any clinic that provides certificate services. You can also contact the local polyclinic. All specialist services are provided on a paid basis, so contact the registry, pay for the issuance of a certificate. Show your passport or driver's license, two photos of size 3, 5x4, 5 on a matte background. If you regularly wear glasses, you do not need to be photographed in them. It is enough to have glasses with you for examination by an ophthalmologist so that the doctor can determine whether you need to replace them or not. If you feel uncomfortable without glasses, you can take photos with glasses.
Step 2
To get a certificate for you, you must undergo a medical examination by a surgeon, ophthalmologist, therapist, neurologist, otolaryngologist. A separate conclusion will be required from the regional psychiatric and narcological dispensary.
Step 3
Issuance of the certificate will take from one to several days. It depends on which clinic you apply to, and how long you will have to wait for a medical examination of these specialists.
Step 4
Do not buy a certificate in questionable medical institutions and do not issue it at one-day firms, whose ads offer to issue a certificate in 15 minutes or one hour. The document must be authentic with signatures and seals of specialists. Submission of fake certificates to the traffic police is punishable by law.
Step 5
After issuing the certificate, put a seal at the head physician of the medical institution, a square and official seal at the registry.
Step 6
The timing of a second medical examination will be indicated on the document, it depends on the state of health and age. The minimum period for re-examination is 1 year, the maximum is 3 years.
Step 7
You will receive a license for 10 years, so if you do not need to receive them by changing the category or in case of loss, then you can get a medical certificate again only before the procedure for replacing a driver's license.
