Until recently, when passing a technical inspection, the driver had to provide the passport of the owner of the car, his driver's license, insurance policy, medical certificate and receipts for payment of state duties. But in November 2010, the Russian government adopted a law to clarify the list of documents to be provided when passing a vehicle inspection, there is no medical certificate in the list.
A year ago, every driver had to get a medical certificate before getting behind the wheel of a car that his health allowed him to drive a car. She was necessary in order to pass exams in driving a vehicle, passing a vehicle inspection, updating driver's documents. For this, a special commission was created, which consisted of several doctors and, based on the examination of the driver, medical certificates were issued for a period of three years. Since November 2010, the Russian government has facilitated the inspection procedure. From this moment on, it is not required to present a medical certificate to pass it. However, any driver must undergo a medical examination every three years. Experts are confident that a law will most likely be passed that will oblige all drivers to have a medical certificate in the mandatory list of documents while driving. This means that a certificate will be needed, it is simply not included in the list of mandatory documents when passing a vehicle inspection. traffic has deprived the driver of the right to drive. In addition, the Russian government approved a new model of a driver's medical certificate. This document is now a document that is protected from counterfeiting, and their issuance is recorded in special journals. So far, the doctor who issued the certificate is responsible for the driver's health, but the government wants to consider the law, by analogy with Western countries, where the driver himself is responsible for his health, as well as for the accident he has committed.
