Have you ever looked closely at how drivers sit behind the wheel? Some landings can only cause confusion. And although many of them know perfectly well how to properly sit behind the wheel, not all do it. We must not forget that it is on the correct landing that the driver's ability to feel the car subtly and accurately navigate in the situation often depends.

In order to drive a car well, you must, first of all, always fasten your seat belt tightly, this will allow you to better feel the behavior of the car. After all, after hearing and sight, the main assistant in driving is the spinal cord, and for better perception, you need to drive correctly.

The driver should always be positioned in such a way that he can hold the steering wheel at its highest point with his closed grip without lifting his arm, without looking up from the seat. And with his right hand (this, of course, applies to cars with a manual transmission and left-hand drive), he could turn on the third gear, which is the farthest on the lever.

The optimal spinal deflection is 110 degrees. The distance from the handlebars will be determined using outstretched arms: while holding the top of the handlebars, make sure that your elbows are slightly bent. This is necessary in order to have time to quickly intercept the steering wheel during rotation, for example, to rotate the car or get out of a skid. In this case, the left leg should always be fully extended when pressing the clutch pedal. And the weight of the body when pressing the clutch pedal should not transfer to the right foot - it is necessary for braking.

When driving, make sure that the head is exactly upward with the crown of the head. It is this position that will provide the vestibular apparatus with maximum sensitivity.

And finally, one of the main mistakes that drivers make when choosing a landing, which is quite common among beginners, is too close the position of the driver in relation to the steering wheel. It seems to many that it is in this position that it is more convenient to drive and the road is seen better. However, such a landing leads to quick fatigue, in addition, it is far from safe: because the driver's chest is too close to the steering wheel, and this is fraught with injuries even with a minor collision. The other extreme is too loose fit. On the contrary, it weakens the muscle tone and, therefore, slows down the reaction in a critical situation.

Also, in order to properly drive, you need to know how to adjust the seats. It is as follows: first, fold the back of the seat and slide it so that when the clutch is squeezed to the floor, the leg is slightly bent at the knee. Then grab the steering wheel at the highest point and move the seat back.

And finally, to check, fasten your seat belt, grab the steering wheel with your left hand, and engage the third gear with your right. If you managed to do this without looking up from the seat back, you did everything right. Be aware that if you want to get into a more comfortable position, the seat is not fitted correctly.

It is necessary to very strictly ensure that there is a distance of at least five centimeters between the seat and the popliteal cavity - this will ensure normal blood flow in the legs.

And most importantly, even if you have correctly adjusted your seat, do not forget to make occasional short stops when driving long distances so that you can get out of the car and stretch a little.
