At night, the main highways are more free, so you can get around by car almost without obstacles. During the summer, it is not so hot at night and therefore most drivers prefer to drive at night. There are some guidelines to follow to make your night trips safe and comfortable.
Instructions
Step 1
Rest during the trip. Before starting your trip, carefully plan your route, find out about gas stations where you can refuel, eat and relax. If you feel tired on the road, then you should stop and sleep. In addition, before the trip itself, you should get enough sleep, the sleep should be at least 7-8 hours.
Step 2
It is best to choose roads with multiple lanes.
Step 3
It is also better to choose a longer road, but good. Better to be patient than to cut a couple of kilometers along a country road, where you don't know how many ditches and holes. Besides the fact that you have to slow down, you can also “kill” the suspension. It is worth choosing proven roads, which indicate all the necessary landmarks. In any case, it is better not to rush, because rush does not lead to good.
Step 4
Choose the optimal driving speed. The optimal speed in the dark is the one at which you can calmly stop in the event of unforeseen obstacles, for example, a car in front of you. Since at night you may not notice repair work on the road, pedestrians, a fallen tree, so your speed should be such that you do not have time to go around the obstacle, but stop in front of it.
Step 5
If you want to sleep, then it is useless to deal with such a state. Energy drinks and coffee will not help here. It is best to stop and rest.
