Most often, neon lamps are placed on the bottom of the car, and when they are turned on, a soft, beautiful glow appears. If desired, neon can be installed in any other part of the car, both outside and inside.
It is necessary
- - observation pit (lift);
- - drill or screwdriver (screwdriver).
Instructions
Step 1
Select the desired neon light color. Red, green, pink and blue tones look beautiful. After purchasing neon lights, carefully read the attached instructions. Think carefully about the methods and techniques for attaching neon lights. Before installing, check their serviceability and functionality.
Step 2
To attach the neon lights to the bottom, place the machine on a viewing pit, overpass or lift. For safety reasons, apply the parking brake and place shoes under the wheels. Disconnect the battery.
Step 3
Clean the bottom of the dirt and fix the lamps using the mounts supplied. To do this, drill the necessary holes in the bottom of the car. When drilling, consider the thickness of the metal to avoid damage to any other parts, wiring and mechanisms. Treat the holes with an anti-corrosion coating.
Step 4
Choose a place to install the transformer in the engine compartment or under the dashboard. The place where the transformer is installed must prevent moisture from entering the device. Connect the negative wire to the car body. Connect the positive wire to the battery through the fuse. Remember to install a power switch on the transformer. This will enable the backlight to be turned on and off regardless of whether the ignition is turned on.
Step 5
Connect the neon lamps to the transformer according to the instructions. Make all connections carefully and insulate them. After completing all work, check again all connections for tightness.
