Even with timely and careful maintenance of motorcycle wheels, it becomes necessary to replace tires from time to time. With minimal experience, dismantling the old "shoe" and installing a new one does not take much time. Putting a tire on a motorcycle wheel rim requires simple tools, patience, and skillful hands.
It is necessary
- - tire;
- - rim;
- - assembly blades;
- - a hammer;
- - paper bag;
- - talc.
Instructions
Step 1
Carefully inspect the previously removed tire to make sure there are no foreign objects inside it that could subsequently damage the camera. Powder the inside of the tire using a prepared talcum powder bag.
Step 2
If necessary, attach protective tape to the rim, aligning its hole with the hole in the rim. The tape must be laid flat and without distortion.
Step 3
Place a piece of the tire bead into the groove in the wheel. Slide the selected bead onto the rim using the mounting paddles. Slide the tire to the edge of the rim.
Step 4
Sprinkle talcum powder on the slightly pumped up chamber. Insert its valve into the hole in the rim. Tighten the nut two or three turns so that the camera does not accidentally pop out of its place.
Step 5
Place the entire tube inside the tire, avoiding wrinkling or kinking. Press in the valve until it stops so that the first bead of the rubber is completely inserted into the recess of the wheel.
Step 6
On the side opposite to the valve, lift the second bead of the tire and fill it about two-thirds of its length. Crumple the tire with your hands so that the tucked-in part goes into the groove. Gradually grasping the wheel around the circumference, tuck the first bead completely behind the rim.
Step 7
Pump up the camera a little more. Apply a few light hammer blows to the sole of the tire while tucking in the second bead. When using the mounting paddles, do not use excessive force to avoid damaging the tube and the tire itself.
Step 8
Screw in the valve nut until it stops. Inflate the chamber to the required pressure and then completely release the air from it. This is necessary to completely unfold the tube inside the tire and eliminate possible wrinkles. Now the camera can be pumped up completely. Screw on the spool and protective cap.
