It would seem that it could be easier than putting a tire on a motorcycle wheel rim or removing it. But most motorists experience significant difficulties in doing so. And the appearance of foreign-made motorcycles only exacerbated this problem. The success of an undertaking largely depends on the instrument. The best assembling blades were supplied to Java and Urals. They even have special slots for fixing on the knitting needles. They are very convenient when mounting hard tires.

Instructions

Step 1

Even the best tool needs to be improved. Round off the sharp edges of the mounting with a file, remove burrs. Polish the blades with sandpaper or a felt wheel to make them easier to work with. Then release the air from the chamber, place the wheel on the floor (on the ground) and proceed with installation.

Step 2

When dismantling, the most difficult thing is to separate the tire bead from the rim. To do this, it is usually enough to stomp your boots on the sidewall of the tire. This must be done on both sides of the wheel. If the board is stuck, "dancing" on the tire will have no effect. You will need a corner and a hammer here.

Step 3

You need to start disassembling the tire from the hole with the valve. Attach the wheel mount at this location. Then cling to the second mounting 10 cm from the first.

Step 4

After disassembling the tire completely, pull out the tube. This is usually performed from the nipple.

Step 5

Use a tire bar and a hammer to remove the tire from the wheel. Pry the tire from the inside of the rim using a spudger and yank the rim out of the tire using your hands. A hammer will soften the rubber that has become cold with old age. You need to beat on the side of the lid. At the same time, try not to get it between the hammer and the rim.

Step 6

To put the tire back on the wheel, you probably only have enough hand strength. If there is a direction of rotation of the tire, be sure not to confuse it. Insert the camera into the hole with the nipple, then screw the nut so that the valve does not go back. Now you can take your time tucking the tube into the tire. See that there are no kinks and folds.

Step 7

It is necessary to side the tire from the side of the rim opposite to the nipple, and end it strictly at the nipple. Why, you ask? Yes, because in the final phase, it is possible to throw the tire bead onto the rim shelf only when the tire beads are in the rim recess. Otherwise, the nipple will not allow the sides to fall into place.

Step 8

In the case of a soft tire, you can do without mounting blades and side the tire with your feet. In addition, it looks spectacular from the outside.
