When a person decides that he simply cannot do without a driver's license, then he should start studying and only then, having passed special exams, receive the coveted document for the right to drive a vehicle. Fortunately, today it will not be difficult to do this in Belarus, because anyone can find a driving school, even one located not far from home or place of work.
Categories that a future driver can get in the Republic of Belarus
The State Automobile Inspectorate of the Republic of Belarus today issues licenses to drivers who have mastered the courses in seven categories.
Category "A" will allow you to drive a motorcycle, when you select category "B" the driver receives a permit to drive cars. So, this includes cars weighing up to 3.5 tons and a passenger capacity of up to 8 people; choosing category "C", you can safely get behind the wheel of a car with a weight exceeding 3.5 tons. Category "D" will be indispensable for those who want to drive vehicles with a capacity of more than nine people, but category "E" is designed for people who are allowed to drive all of the above vehicles and at the same time also allows the use of a tractor.
But if the driver works on public city transport, then he must receive certificates with open categories for such a purpose:
- category "I" - for driving a trolleybus;
- category "F" - tram driving.
Some features when opening categories
When the driver works in trolleybus Park and operates an articulated bus, it is mandatory to have a license with the appropriate category and also to obtain a special certificate of the second class.
Unlike Russian traffic rules, Belarusian ones have a lot of nuances and clarified requirements for driver's documents. So, drivers with open categories "B", "C" and "D" can also drive a trailer, but it must not exceed a weight over 0.75 tons. But if the weight of this trailer is more than the above, then you should also open an additional category "E".
Drivers need to know that a driver's license is valid for only 10 years, then it will be necessary to take care of a new one. In addition, when receiving a certificate, drivers must also have a coupon with them, without which it is simply impossible to drive any vehicle.
Modern driving school is focused on the working population, so most of them conducts classes in the evening, and the exams did organize during the weekend.
Curious is the innovation in the administrative code of Belarus, according to which if a driving school student does not pass a theoretical or practical exam from the first or second time, he is obliged to complete the entire course of study again. And no indulgences. The situation is similar with those who were deprived of their rights for an offense, and even more so for drunk driving (regardless of how long the offender's driving experience is).
