Almost all modern cars start, as they say, with half a turn. The domestic car from the classic series, for example, "seven", is not inferior to them in these characteristics.
Instructions
Step 1
Place the gear shift lever in neutral. Insert the key into the ignition switch.
Step 2
Press and hold the clutch pedal. Switch on the ignition. Wait a few seconds for the electric fuel pump to have time to raise the pressure in the fuel rail to the operating value.
Step 3
Turn on the starter for no more than 10-25 seconds. If the engine does not start, turn off the ignition. Please try again in 20-30 seconds.
Step 4
Do not press the accelerator pedal during the winding process. This can only be done when starting is difficult, when too much fuel has entered the combustion chambers. In this case, first press the gas pedal all the way and only then turn on the starter to purge the cylinders.
Step 5
Do the next attempt to start the engine as usual. If the engine starts, release the ignition key, which will automatically return to its original position. If the engine runs smoothly, release the clutch pedal smoothly.
Step 6
In the cold season, the car should be started taking into account the conditions that complicate the operation of the engine: the battery gives a lower starting current, the engine oil has a high viscosity, the spark plugs do not work well.
Step 7
Before starting, turning on the ignition, pause so that the fuel pump has time to raise the pressure to the desired level. Keep the clutch pedal depressed. At the same time, do not press the gas pedal!
Step 8
If there are no flashes in the engine cylinders within 10 seconds, stop trying to start the car. Repeat it no earlier than 40 seconds later.
Step 9
After the second unsuccessful attempt to start the engine, start the third with the accelerator pedal fully depressed, turning on the cylinder purge mode. After 6-8 seconds of purging, begin to smoothly release the gas pedal and hold it in the position where flashes appear.
Step 10
If the third attempt to start the engine fails, the temperature may be too low. According to technical conditions, -25 ° C is considered the limit below which it is not possible to start the motor without auxiliary devices. Also, the problem may lie in an engine malfunction or in the fact that the battery is less than 75% charged. In this case, contact a specialist.
