Each car must have a certain set of things that may be needed in unforeseen situations. Any car enthusiast knows the rules of the road, according to which it is necessary to have a first aid kit, a fire extinguisher and an emergency stop sign. After all, these things will come to the rescue not only when meeting with a traffic police officer and will help to avoid a warning or a fine, but also in the event of an emergency. But this is not all that should be in the car.

What you need to have in the trunk

The main role in all trips can be assigned to the spare wheel, jack and wheel wrench. After all, if at least some of this is missing, it will be extremely difficult to replace the punctured wheel. It will not be superfluous to have with you a piece of board or "shoe" for fixing the car, as well as a couple of boards for placing under the jack on soft ground.

In addition, a minimum set of wrenches, a hammer, a few screwdrivers, pliers should be kept in the trunk - all this will eliminate most of the breakdowns on the road. It would be wise to carry spare fuses, light bulbs, a flashlight, a small shovel, a spare alternator belt and so on in the car.

The tow rope is another very important thing that should be in every trunk. A foot pump or an electric compressor will also not interfere on the road, but it is better to do both at once.

What you need to have in the salon

In the passenger compartment, you should always carry a bottle of clean drinking water, which will come in handy if you need to quench your thirst, drink medicine or just wash your hands. Therefore, a drinking glass, napkins or towels for drying hands and face should also be in the car.

For a long trip, it will not be superfluous to take with you a small pillow and a warm blanket. In the glove compartment, most often, a bunch of various necessary and unnecessary goods are piled up. But right, if there will be a small flashlight, an additional set of batteries for it, a phone charger, wet wipes, medicines that are not available in the first-aid kit, but which passengers may need. Some car owners have sunglasses, CDs and even condoms there.

It is important to remember that you do not need to litter the interior of your car with all sorts of things. After all, the less various objects are present in it, the more comfortable and safer riding can be. The situation is similar with the luggage compartment: it is better to use its space as efficiently as possible.
