Step 1
If the traffic controller stretches his arms out to the sides or lowers them, then the following movement is allowed from the left and right sides: straight ahead - only for the tram, straight and right - for the rest of the trackless transport. Pedestrians can cross the road. The movement of pedestrians and vehicles from the side of the chest and back of the traffic controller is prohibited.
Step 2
If you see that the traffic controller has extended his right hand forward, then the movement is allowed as follows. From the left side - the tram can go to the left, the rest of the trackless vehicles can move in all directions. From the side of the chest, all vehicles are allowed to drive to the right. It is prohibited to move absolutely for all types of transport from the right side and back of the traffic controller. As for pedestrians, they can cross the carriageway only behind the back of the traffic controller.
Step 3
When the traffic controller's hand is raised up, this means that movement is prohibited in any direction and for all types of transport. An exception is possible only for drivers "flying at speed" and able to stop only with the help of emergency braking, which can provoke a traffic accident. Pedestrians must urgently leave the carriageway, or stop at the dividing line of traffic flows.

To stop cars and other moving vehicles, the traffic controller uses a loudspeaker or a whistle. Additionally, the traffic controller points with his hand to the desired car, the driver of which is obliged to stop. Since it is not always easy to remember the signals of the traffic controller, the traffic controller has the right to use additional signals to help drivers and pedestrians understand it.
