Step 1
To improve the dynamics of the VAZ 2107, you can remove the springs from the vacuum throttle actuator. A significant drawback of this change in the operation of the carburetor is that the amount of fuel consumed will increase, about half a liter per hundred kilometers.
Step 2
Another way to increase the maneuverability of the machine by improving the carburetor performance is to convert the vacuum throttle actuator to a mechanical one. To do this, you need to use a wire with a ring at the end. The wire ring must be pushed under the nut holding the throttle actuator levers. After that, the nut is tightened firmly. This method will not affect fuel consumption.
Step 3
You can get rid of uneven acceleration by replacing the diffuser marked 3, 5 in the carburetor with a similar one, but marked 4, 5. Simultaneously with replacing the diffuser, you must also change the pump marked 30 to the pump marked 40.
Step 4
If the car accelerates poorly, at speeds over 90 km / h it starts to "jump", and the engine works without interruption only at idle or, conversely, when idling, it "chokes", and in the cold season the engine does not start, first, what needs to be checked are the jets through which the fuel enters the carburetor. Jets and emulsion tubes must be regularly cleaned of dirt and dust, flushed with gasoline and blown out.
Step 5
The main disadvantages of VAZ 2107 carburetors are associated with leaks and rapid wear of parts. Because of them, various breakdowns and malfunctions occur. To avoid this, the carburetor must be checked regularly. In addition to the jets, the accelerator pump and the fuel filter must be cleaned, rinsed and blown out.
Step 6
It is not worth checking the carburetor parts with metal objects. Spare parts should only be wiped with fabrics that do not leave lint. Otherwise, valves and pipes can become clogged.
