Step 1
Advertise your car for sale in as many media outlets as possible. Use the Internet and print media. Some buyers, when buying a car, still prefer to look through the magazine and find ads in it, rather than choosing a suitable car using the Internet.
Step 2
Post announcements on the sites www.auto.ru, www.avito.ru, www.irr.ru, www.slando.ru. In the text, be sure to indicate the make of the car, year of manufacture, mileage, equipment, cost, leave a contact phone number or email address. Take a picture of the car and attach pictures to your ad. Most buyers choose sales messages from photographs.
Step 3
Submit ads to the magazines "Automobiles and Prices", "From Hand to Hand - Auto" and other print media that accept advertisements from individuals free of charge. Place the same text there as in the online ad, additionally specifying your name and mobile phone.
Step 4
Before the sale, prepare the following documents: - vehicle passport (PTS), with information about the car and its past owners; - vehicle registration certificate; - power of attorney certified by a notary (if you are not the owner of the car). It must indicate that you have the right to represent the interests of the owner when performing registration actions, drawn up in the manner prescribed by the legislation of the Russian Federation (No. 488 dated June 04, 2007), original and copy; - general civil passport or officer's identity card with a certificate of F7; - a receipt for payment of the state duty for deregistering a car.
Step 5
After finding a buyer for your car, go with him to one of the organizations licensed by the traffic police, which are engaged in the execution of contracts for the sale of vehicles. This document will be required when registering a car.
