Correct steering while driving is a guarantee of your safety and confident driving. Hands are responsible for the stability of the car on the road, the clarity of turns and changes. It is very important to learn to feel any action of the car on your commands. Because in some cars, turning the steering wheel does not mean instant execution, and in some cars, any awkward movement leads to an instant shift from the trajectory.

Instructions
Step 1
Learn to place your hands correctly on the steering wheel. If you are holding the steering wheel with both hands, they should be symmetrically positioned in the middle of the left and right sides of the steering wheel. At the same time, it must be held with a full palm, the thumb must lie on the outside, and not grab the steering wheel. In this case, if you suddenly knock the steering wheel out of your hands (in an accident), you will not injure your hand. When driving quietly on a flat road, your hands can rest on the bottom of the steering wheel with the palm on the outside, and the hand wraps around the steering wheel. The position when both hands are on the top is not very comfortable - some people have to stretch forward a little.
Step 2
When holding the handlebars, use your hand and wrist with your forearm and shoulder relaxed. Otherwise, it will be just hard for you to turn the steering wheel sharply. And the tension will be transmitted to the neck, and from there - throughout the body, as a result of which you will get tired faster. For even more comfort, use a leather braid on the steering wheel for less sweat on your palms.
Step 3
If you need to make a full turn of the handlebar, lock your hand on top of it. Start turning the steering wheel as soon as you have completed half a turn. Lock the top with one hand and release the other. So, alternately, with intercepting movements, unscrew the steering wheel until it stops. It is important that you do not let go of the steering wheel for a second.
Step 4
To complete the turning maneuver, having twisted the steering wheel all the way while the vehicle is moving, release it to twist freely in the other direction. In this case, your hands will make, as it were, sliding movements along the steering wheel, so that at the moment of its return, they will be fixed in a straight position.
Step 5
To prevent the car from being thrown during maneuvers, practice doing the figure eight exercise. In free space, start writing out eights on the car: first, large circles, and then less and less. Your task with decreasing the radius is not to get confused in your own hands, because they will make turns with the steering wheel more and more often. And at the same time, the car should not move from a given trajectory.
