Step 1
In a standard set, there are usually four handles and rods for them. Two of them go to the front doors, and the other two go to the rear, respectively. The handles themselves consist of a base, a pull handle and an opening mechanism. The design is very primitive. Pay attention to the fact that the base is asymmetrical. The top should be where the handle is wider. All exhaust parts are the same.
Step 2
It should be noted right away that it is easiest to remove rods from standard handles before dismantling the handles themselves. To remove them, you need to pull on the plastic tips, and press the metal part well. After they have been removed, you can also remove the old pens. Before installing the European handles, be sure to lubricate the rubbing parts. It is also recommended to lubricate the inner lock. Screw in the plastic cap until there is sufficient thrust travel. You can find rods in the kit that are slightly longer than standard ones. In this case, you must carefully tighten the ends of the rods onto which the tips are screwed.
Step 3
Problems can also arise with putting the tips on the rods. Please note that you need to insert them before a characteristic click. Otherwise, the rods will simply fly off. Pull out the pin from the larva rod guide using an awl. Press it down from the tip side. Do not forget about the retaining ring. It is usually removed from the old handle and installed in the same way on the new one. If the ring is not installed, then the key, together with the larva, will turn.
Step 4
It is recommended to use plastic euro pens. They are of good quality. These pens are available in unpainted and painted form. You may also notice that some types of handles do not have holes for the lock cylinder. These are the so-called "vandal-proof" pens. They do not differ in quality and cost from conventional designs.
