It is difficult to imagine a modern car without musical accompaniment. A car without a radio is already something incomplete. And if you support the point of view of the majority, then a breakdown of the car radio will be very unpleasant for you.

Instructions

Step 1

If the car radio is faulty, find out what exactly does not work:

- the radio does not turn on;

- the backlight is off;

- the disc cannot be played;

- the disc is playing, but it is impossible to get it;

- the reproduced sound in one of the speakers is distorted, quieter or incorrect.

If you are not confident in your abilities, do not know how to read the diagrams and drawings presented in the instructions, and if your radio is under warranty, then in no case try to repair it yourself. In the first case, you can simply aggravate the situation, and in the second, you will lose your warranty. Consider the cases that everyone can handle.

Step 2

So, the radio does not turn on. This can happen due to lack of power. In this case, check if the wires are connected to the radio tape recorder correctly, if they are in good working order, if the connectors are in working order (not loose, not falling out, not dirty). If the problem is not resolved, then you need to look for it inside the radio. This can be indicated by damaged wires, microcircuits, and so on. If possible, install and repair the problem.

The same applies to faulty backlighting. Only in this case is it worth checking the honey first.

Step 3

If the disc does not play, this may be due to several reasons. One of the most common is contamination of the reproductive part. Purchase a disc that has been coated with a special cloth and liquid. Clean the playback mechanism of the radio, fully following the instructions.

If this does not help, then you need to clean the laser head. To do this, remove the top cover of the radio. Clean the opened space from dust and dirt. Then provide access to the laser head. Wipe the lens with dry cotton wool or a cloth. Do not use alcohol or other solutions. This can lead to darkening of the lens. Assemble the radio.

Step 4

If the disc is played, but it is impossible to get it, or the radio tape recorder does not respond to commands when the keys are pressed, this may be due to sticky buttons (especially for the second option) or due to a malfunction of the drive microcircuit. Carefully remove the radio buttons from the slots, clean the slots and buttons and insert everything neatly into place. The drive microcircuit can also be replaced by yourself, having previously bought a similar one in a specialized store and remembering the elementary soldering skills.
