Knowing the rules of the road does not mean following them. Moreover, some drivers generally believe that the rules were invented for dummies, and experienced drivers can be guided by their own intuition. But practice shows that the most terrible accidents occur precisely because of a gross violation of traffic rules. So how do you learn to abide by the established rules and at the same time not create inconveniences for other drivers?
Instructions
Step 1
A lot of controversy is going on around the passage to a yellow traffic light. It signals that red will now light up, but in itself is not prohibitive. Indeed, the traffic rules clearly state that you have the right to drive on the yellow signal if you do not have time to brake. This trick is used by drivers. Before the traffic lights, you must consider your speed. If you see that the traffic light has been on for a long time, then most likely it will blink soon, which means that there is no point in accelerating, you will not have time to slip through. And if it caught fire recently, then it is better to quickly pass the intersection.
Step 2
Behavior in traffic jams is a separate topic. Nobody wants to stand in them, and the drivers try to go around it by any means, more often on the side of the road. And the cork does not get smaller. On the contrary, more often a small congestion is stretched precisely because someone has no time to stand for an extra five minutes. After all, if the cars that were at the end crawl into the beginning, the middle of the stream practically does not move. Those who are at the beginning are obliged to let those leaving the roadside, and the movement is practically paralyzed. Be patient - a few minutes won are not worth bouncing around the side of the road and listening to well-founded accusations from other drivers.
Step 3
Observe the speed limit - this is one of the basics of safety. The permitted speed in the village is 60 km / h. At this speed, it is easier to quickly make a decision and stop without consequences for other road users. But first of all, observe the flow rate. If you are driving in the left lane, where everyone is traveling more than 60 km / h, following the rules becomes life-threatening. Clear this lane for the "racers", and yourself move into the right lane.
Step 4
Sometimes strict adherence to traffic rules is at odds with the actual traffic situation. In this case, you must use common sense and predict the situation. But in no case should you succumb to the herd instinct and grossly break the rules.
