Instructions

Step 1

In order for the ACKP to serve the car for a long time and regularly, it is necessary to operate it correctly. This means a timely oil change along with the filter after 30 thousand kilometers. If the operating rules are not followed, the wear products of the old oil can get into the control channels and the ACKP will fail. You can replace or repair the box only by going through the selector.

Step 2

Open the hood and remove the battery and its platform, the air filter housing. Place the selector in the "N" position. Disconnect the connector located below, near the brake cylinder, use a screwdriver to disconnect the rod and cable.

Step 3

Prying with a screwdriver and shaking in different directions, remove the rod upward from the gear shift rod, having previously fixed the rod to avoid gear shifting.

Step 4

Carefully disconnect the selector sensor electrical connector, remove the plastic clamps, and then the cover from the wires. You can remove the shoe from the casing. To do this, bend back the retaining tendrils and push the block up. Please note that retainers are usually very fragile and therefore break frequently. They can certainly be replaced with new ones, but many motorists install the selector without them, since the casing reliably holds the block.

Step 5

Remove the selector fasteners and the dipstick inserted into the box through the sealing rubber. Pull the selector towards you and remove it with the connector.

Step 6

Remove the screws and disassemble the selector. Thoroughly wash all its components with gasoline, clean the contacts with fine sandpaper, lubricate all moving parts with grease. Assemble the selector and install it in the car in the reverse order.
