Often, when installing an ultrasonic parking system, the color of the sensors is very different from the color of the car bumpers. Strictly speaking, all sensors are painted black or silver. Therefore, the need for painting them arises in most cases.

Instructions
Step 1
First of all, match the paint to the body color of your car. When choosing a color, computerized color and shade selection is highly effective. Another way is to contact an authorized dealer to purchase paint and varnish that is exactly the color of your car. It will come out more expensive, but as close to ideal as possible. But even if you can't match the color and shade 100% - it's okay! The sensors are installed low enough on the bumper. The difference in shade will be almost imperceptible.
Step 2
The paint can be acrylic or nitro paint. Nitro paint is fast drying - 15 minutes of drying at room temperature is enough. But on top of a layer of nitro paint, a varnish coating is required, otherwise the paint will peel off rather quickly. Acrylic paint dries for at least 2 hours, but is abrasion resistant and does not require varnishing. Try to get more expensive paint so that it doesn't peel off the sensors after a couple of weeks. It is very convenient to use paint in aerosol cans.
Step 3
Included with the parking sensors are guide rings designed to hold the sensors in the bumper and orient them in the right direction. Before painting, wipe both the sensors and the rings with white alcohol to remove the existing traces of the marker and degrease the painted surface. Do not use acetone for these purposes - the plastic may melt.
Step 4
From several sheets of A4 paper, twist the tube and place the rings tightly on it so that there is some distance between them. Shake the can vigorously for a few minutes and spray some paint aside to clear the outlet nozzle. Paint the rings by spraying paint on them from a distance of about 20 cm, evenly turning the paper tube in a circle.
Step 5
Consider the material used for the sensor housing. If the sensor is not originally painted and the surface consists of a simple black plastic such as polyethylene, it can be difficult to handle. The paint does not adhere well to such a surface, and priming is required before painting. The sensors initially painted in black or silver do not need to be primed. Before painting, remove the gloss from them by matting a little with fine-grained emery paper.
Step 6
Take a sheet of heavy cardboard or polystyrene and punch holes in it to install the sensors. Be extremely careful when doing this. The holes should be such that, when installed in them, the sensors protrude above the surface of the sheet. Insert the sensors into the holes made, set the cardboard horizontally and spray paint as described above. Don't try to make too much paint. Better paint the sensors in 2-3 layers on top and one in a circle from the sides. In the event of a marriage, wipe off the paint with white alcohol and paint again.
