Parktronic (parking device) is a great assistant for drivers. It helps make parking in tight spaces easier. Parktronic allows you to avoid collisions with those objects that are in the area invisible to the driver. Notification of danger and distance to the object is made using sound and light signals. Before active operation, you need to check the performance of the parking sensors.
Instructions
Step 1
Park the vehicle on a smooth and level surface. Make sure that there are no obstacles behind within a radius of about two meters. Check and adjust the instrument to prevent false alarms. To do this, engage reverse gear and simultaneously press the swing lever. The number 50 will appear on the screen. The Parktronic will start scanning the ground, which will take about 10 seconds.
Step 2
The scan results will be saved in the instrument's memory. They can only be corrected for a short time while a continuous beep sounds to indicate that learning is complete. Make sure that no one passes or drives close behind the car during the tuning process, otherwise the results will be distorted.
Step 3
Carry out the training several times, shifting the car in different directions by 30-50 cm. Then sit the passengers in the rear seats, put some load in the car and repeat the procedure. Place obstacles behind and check how accurately the parking sensors determine the distance to them.
Step 4
You can always adjust the device to suit your operating conditions if it responds to a road surface that is more uneven than the one on which it was originally tested. You can interrupt training by pressing the turn signal lever or simply by turning off the device.
