Step 3
It is necessary to find under the belt drum, a black plug that has a round appearance, under it there is a nut that holds the strut rod. Using two keys for 19 and 8, it is necessary to loosen this nut, with a key of 8 it is necessary to hold the stem so that there is no turning of the nut.
Step 4
Using a jack, you need to raise the car and remove the rear wheel, which will interfere with further work. After that, you need to remove the dirt that is in the arch, it hides the bolt underneath that holds the rack from below.
Step 5
After you have unscrewed the lower mount, you must completely unscrew the nut located in the passenger compartment, after completely unscrewing the nut, you will hear a characteristic rumble - while the stand will fall to the floor, this can be avoided if you have an assistant who will hold the stand, when you unscrew the top nut.
Step 6
We separate the spring from the rack and, when using the angle grinder, shorten it to the length you need.
Step 7
The assembly must be carried out in the reverse order, and the spring on the other side of the car must be shortened in the same way.
