The purpose of installing stationary or mobile photo radars is to discipline careless drivers, and not to replenish the traffic police budget. A dangerous section of the road is not a place for recklessness, and it would be much more honest if drivers were warned in advance about the presence of photoradars. Such a method would allow not to violate the speed limit where it is absolutely not necessary to do so.
The principle of operation of automatic photo radars is to take a picture of a vehicle, enter the speed of movement, date, time of violation into the frame, automatically recognize the license plate, transmit data via a wireless channel in real time to the nearest mobile traffic police post.
The automatic photo radar stores a database of recorded traffic violations. At night, the photo radar works with infrared illumination.
