Step 1
In those cases when rattling sounds are heard from the bottom of the machine with the engine running, this fact indicates the destruction of the mesh inside the catalyst. This part of the exhaust system from the engine is not repairable and must be replaced after its failure. But, when a motorist visits a car shop in order to purchase a new spare part and finds out its cost, he usually refuses to buy it.
Step 2
After that, the search for a solution to find a way out of this situation begins. Riding with a "rattle" from the bottom of the car is a shame. It’s a pity to pay a monthly salary for an insignificant spare part. And, taking into account that a person invented all the most ingenious thanks to his own laziness, the first thing that comes to the mind of an ordinary motorist is to knock out all the insides from the catalytic converter of exhaust gases.
Step 3
To this end, the car is placed in an inspection pit in the garage, and the front and rear catalyst mounts in the exhaust pipe are unscrewed from the bottom of the car using wrenches. Then it is removed from there, and all the insides are ruthlessly knocked out of it with a chisel and a hammer. The devastated part "with a light heart" is mounted in its original place.

I would like to warn motorists who own cars produced in the third millennium. It may happen that after removing the mesh from the catalyst, someone will not be able to start the engine. The fact is that after 2000, car manufacturers, at the request of environmentalists, began to build a sensor for the content of harmful impurities in the exhaust gases into the exhaust system, which, in our case, will certainly give a command to the electronic control unit to stop the engine.
