If you have an old alarm system that, in principle, cannot be updated, purchase a new one, having discussed all the details with the installer in advance, including the desired range of the transmitter and the antenna reception radius.

If you do not yet have the opportunity to contact specialists or buy a new alarm system, start your work by reading textbooks on electrical engineering, radar and programming. This knowledge will be useful to you in the work on the modification (re-soldering, reprogramming, etc.) of the electronic alarm system.
Step 4
Each antenna resonates at a specific frequency, and this depends on the length of its web. This length is adjusted at the factory to match the alarm transmitter. You can try to try to make some adjustments to the operation of the transmitter or, accordingly, change the length or configuration of the antenna beam.

Be sure to familiarize yourself with the alarm operation manual, learn all the basic modes of its application. It is possible that you can increase the range of reception and transmission without total internal interference with the transmitter or lengthening the antenna (which, it is worth noting, can attract both hijackers and hooligans).

If you live on one of the upper floors and therefore cannot, if necessary, “shout” to your car, move the antenna outside the body or attach it to the windshield. Thus, it is also possible to slightly increase the radius of the antenna, especially since in this case nothing will interfere with the passage of the signal.
