After prolonged use of the vehicle, many parts will wear out. Together with them, the quality of the carburetor suffers, after which it can stall at idle. This means it's time to adjust it.

It is necessary

  • - screwdriver;
  • - wrench.

Instructions

Step 1

Set the crankshaft to the minimum speed. To set the maximum frequency of the mixture quality screw, you need to turn it in different directions, but do not change the position of the throttle valve.

Step 2

Warm up the car engine, as only under such conditions it is possible to adjust the carburetor. Then, with the first screw, limit the closure of the throttle column. This action will help fix the position of the car's open throttle in the desired (primary) carburetor chamber. Adjust the quality of the fuel mixture with the second screw. This means that by unscrewing it, you thereby increase the content of gasoline in the vapors of the fuel system and get a rich mixture. If you twist it inward, the mixture will be depleted.

Step 3

Do not forget to turn the mixture quality screw all the way, and the mixture amount screw must be screwed in two turns.

Step 4

Proceed directly to adjusting the carburetor to ensure stable operation of the Oka engine at idle speed. Do this only after you have dealt with the screws located at the bottom of the carburetor. Find the location of the adjustment screws that is correct (will provide the required quality and quantity of the mixture). Smooth and economical operation will be achieved precisely in this position.

Step 5

Turn the first screw to the left and then to the right so that the engine speed is set to minimum speed. Do the same with the second screw to set the maximum engine speed.

Step 6

Complete the Oka carburetor adjustment as follows. Set the first screw to a speed of 600-700 rpm, and use the pedal to increase it to 4000. After this action, the engine should work well at idle.
