Step 1
Zero Resistance Air Filter Start simple: Install a zero resistance air filter called a zero resistance air filter. It is not difficult to buy it in auto parts markets or online stores. Installation method: Begin by dismantling the old filter housing and the air duct that supplies warm air in cold weather, the crankcase exhaust pipe. Install the zero resistance filter according to the attached instructions. An additional 3-5 percent of the power is provided to you.
Step 2
Straight through muffler Install a straight through muffler. Start by removing the resonator and the old muffler. Leave the exhaust manifold, the so-called "pants". Installation will not take much time, clamps, hanging rubber bands will remain the same. Choose the pipe diameter according to your preference. But there is one drawback: the noise during acceleration and gas discharge may not please the people around you, and problems with traffic police inspectors are not excluded.
Step 3
Increase the compression ratio Remove the cylinder head, mill it in a specialized workshop by 0.5-1 mm, thereby reducing the volume of the combustion chamber and increasing the compression ratio. Get a 12-15 percent increase in power. Note that you will need to use RON 95-98 gasoline after the above procedure.
Step 4
Fitting a sports camshaft The sports camshaft ensures that a full charge of the mixture is delivered to the cylinder optimally, which increases valve lift. To increase the engine power, tuning cams are installed, which are distinguished by an exceptionally smooth profile, which ensures reliable operation of the gas distribution mechanism. A feature of sports shafts is that their use pushes the knock boundary, especially at low crankshaft speeds. There are many types of sports camshafts designed for different purposes: - low torque shaft for city driving; - universal shaft “city - highway”; - the upper shaft is “track”. A camshaft with less valve lift provides a positive effect at low crankshaft speeds, while a camshaft with a higher lift allows more power at higher frequencies.
