Many will say: "You can't just get away from them …" Indeed, the tourist season lasts 3-4 months, and the inspector must manage to earn for the whole year at the expense of rich "Muscovites". The logic is clear.
Step 2
After you have been stopped, a dialogue like this may take place:
Inspector: You have exceeded, 20 km.
You: Yes, I have exceeded it, I don’t argue.
Seeker: Come on, we will draw up a fine.
You follow the inspector into the car or the booth of the stationary post. There will be more inspectors who will then be happy to join the game called "Dissolve for money."
I.: a fine of 400 hryvnia, will we write it out? - and looks at you questioningly. For reference: 400 hryvnia is about 1000 rubles.
You: Yes, write it out.
Seeker: So write it out? - and this question with different intonations will be uttered to him several more times, while he is in no hurry to take the handle.
In any case, your task is to insist on a fine.

Seeker: Do you have hryvnias or have you not managed to change them yet? We can take it in rubles.

Your task is to ask for an official statement of the fine for any questions from the inspector. The bickering can go on for a long time, other employees will begin to put pressure on you, reducing the amount of the fine. The fact is that you can safely throw out any written fine. No one will trace in any way whether you paid for it if you are a citizen of another state. There is absolutely no need for Ukrainian traffic cops to bother with you just like that, without personal gain and waste time on the formal writing of official fines. Therefore, they start to frighten with non-existent sanctions. To make it seem easier for you to pay personally to the inspector. The same scheme works for an offense involving the forfeiture of rights. Depriving a citizen of another state is not such a simple procedure. Therefore, your task is to insist on the formal documentation of your offenses in a calm manner. After 15-20 minutes of such a dialogue, you will be released in 99% of cases. There is nothing to take from you, and the inspector does not want to waste time when dozens of potential victims pass by.
