If you do not have the opportunity or you do not trust such people, you do not have such a service in your city or for some other reason, then here are some tips that should help you:

1. Always look at the cleanliness of the engine compartment. Somehow mud, called anti-corrosion from the factory, is not practiced. Everything under the hood glitters, there are no greasy stains, the corks to all the barrels are screwed tightly, the liquids are poured without drips.

2. Look at the gaps, they should be the same in all parts of the machine, if the gap is curved, then the part is oblique.

3. Look carefully at the sealant in the seams, the sealant is applied at the factory by an automatic machine, the layer and configuration should be the same for all parts of the car.

4. Painting: there are 2 options. 1) When the car is assembled from parts from the warehouse, i.e. they can be painted in different series of the same color, and have slight differences in color or tone. 2) When the car is painted entirely, i.e. all parts are painted with one batch of paint and are immediately assembled. If your model is painted, as in the first version, then a slight difference is acceptable, but it is a detailed difference, and not a sharp transition or a spot in the middle of the part. In the second variant of painting, there should be no color difference across the car.

There is one more snag, the so-called "unpainted" - this is when the car is painted unevenly, with spots, the ground shines through (this, unfortunately, is the fault of some cars assembled in Russia and China). This defect can be seen in the bright sun or under some lanterns at night, but it is extremely difficult to notice it for the untrained eye, usually it is noticed by a colorist or a very meticulous auto-painter. Occurs due to the fact that the factory saves paint.

5. All fasteners on the painted parts of the body must also be painted, except for the plastic latches, ie. you see that all the bolts on the doors are in color, and on the front right 2 screws are not painted, or there are traces of unscrewing, then the part or opening was painted partially or completely. All plastic is put on the car after the final painting and high-temperature drying so that it does not melt.

6. On expensive foreign cars made abroad, some parts, for example, the muffler, are covered with a special film, under the hood there can be a protection made of foam or similar material.
