There are many things to be aware of when buying a used car. I'll tell you about some simple things that women can easily figure out.

A woman, no worse than men, can understand which car to buy, and which one - no way

During my life, I have not bought so many cars, but I have gained some experience in choosing a car, which, I think, will be useful to many. I do not argue that most men are better versed in technology, but it will not be harmful for women to know some subtleties.

It is relatively easy to assess the appearance, operation of the controls and all systems, so I will not dwell on this.

One of the inconspicuous, but important parts of the car is the sills. They are highly susceptible to corrosion, especially on domestic cars. Therefore, when buying, it is advisable to inspect them well, including from below, at the same time take a look at the bottom in the area of the front doors. It happens that it is rotten through and through in these places. Of course, it depends on the age of the car.

An important detail is the oil consumption in the engine lubrication system. Start the car, ask someone to turn on the gas, and look at the exhaust gas. It should be invisible, transparent. If there is white smoke, then the car is "eating" oil. Of course, you can ride for a while, but you still have to repair it. In addition, you will need to constantly add oil to the engine. If according to other parameters you liked the car and decided to buy it, feel free to ask for a discount.

Check that the tires are the same. If not all four, then at least two are identical on the same axis. Otherwise, the car will wind at speed, which is scary.

Determining whether the car was in an accident is also not difficult, at least in the front end. If you open the hood, from the sides in the area of the shock absorbers, the fenders are reinforced with metal inserts, you can see round holes on them (perhaps they are not the same on different brands). So, if the edges of the hole are even, everything is in order. If bent, the car is broken. The wing can be well aligned, but the edges of this hole are unlikely.

And one more small remark. Perhaps it will not be important for everyone, but I try to buy a car on a favorable lunar day. My first car was bought in a perfectly suitable period, which is probably why there were practically no problems with it, and if there was, it was solved easily, quickly and inexpensively. Information on lunar days can be found on the Internet.

Hope these simple tips help someone in choosing a car.
