In winter, motorists have a hard time, especially when there are severe frosts. Before each trip, it becomes necessary to warm up a frozen engine. In conditions of lack of time, you need to do this as quickly as possible.

Step 1
Get in the car and start the engine. A cold engine should only be started at low speeds. In cars in which a carburetor fuel supply system is installed, increase the fuel supply by pulling the "suction" handle.
Step 2
Turn on the stove in the cabin (remember that this also uses gasoline). Switch it to internal circulation at medium speed. Be sure to make sure that all windows are up and the machine is on the handbrake. Get out of the car for a couple of minutes and check it for smudges, clean the glass from dust and ice, and also make sure that the wheels are in full working order.
Step 3
Return to the interior of the car, check its condition, and look at the engine temperature sensor: at average winter temperatures, the engine usually warms up to 60 degrees Celsius in 2-4 minutes. Make sure the air intake is on. When the passenger compartment warms up quickly, glass deformation may occur due to the noticeable temperature difference in the passenger compartment and on the street. Be sure to wait for the engine temperature to reach 60-70 degrees Celsius, otherwise, at higher speeds, with a small gas supply, the engine will "choke".
Step 4
Check the tire pressure just before driving in winter. The difference between night and day temperatures sometimes leads to the fact that air is slightly deflated from the wheels due to the constant expansion and contraction. Be sure to check that the braking system is working properly as soon as you start driving.
