Necessary

  • - car shampoo;
  • - White Spirit;
  • - polishing machine;
  • - coarse-abrasive paste;
  • - a circle for rough polishing;
  • - soft cotton cloth;
  • - fine abrasive paste;
  • - foam nozzle;
  • - protective paste.

Instructions

Step 1

Before you start polishing your car, wash it thoroughly using car shampoo and dry it. After that, using white spirit, clean the body from exhaust gases, stubborn asphalt particles and other contaminants that remain after washing. Now you can start polishing.

Step 2

It consists of two stages. The first helps to remove deep scratches, and the second helps to give the body a shine. First, take a coarse-abrasive paste and conditionally divide the surface of the body into separate sections 40x40 cm. To process each of them, you will need about 30 g of paste (2 teaspoons). Spread the indicated amount over the first area.

Step 3

Place the coarse polishing wheel on the polishing machine and, turning it on at the lowest speed, begin to distribute the paste evenly over the surface of the body. As soon as you pass this section twice, switch the car to the next speed. At the end of this step, wipe off the remaining paste with a soft, dry cotton cloth.

Step 4

The second stage of polishing is carried out similarly to the first, but with the use of fine abrasive paste and a corresponding polishing wheel. After every 3-4 cycles, be sure to rinse the polishing wheels with warm water and dry them.

Step 5

At the end of the polish, proceed to apply a protective coating to the car body. To do this, install a special foam pad on the polishing machine. Apply a small amount of protective paste to the polished area and rub it well to remove any clots. Leave it on for a couple of minutes until the paste begins to dry and turn white.

Step 6

When this happens, turn on the clipper at medium speed and begin to process the surface of the body with it. Be sure to keep the golden mean in polishing at all stages. It is recommended to apply the protective paste no more than once a month. After such treatment of the body, next time it will be enough just to wash the car well.

Step 7

You can also polish your car by hand. To do this, apply a small amount of polish to a clean, dry cloth. Spread it evenly over the polished area and let it dry slightly until a whitish coating appears. After that, carefully polish the surface by making at least 15-20 circular motions in each area.
