An application for deregistering a car is one of the main documents that must be submitted to the traffic police. Deregistration of a vehicle must be made in the following cases: for sale, for subsequent disposal, for export outside the Russian Federation.

Instructions
Step 1
To deregister a car at the traffic police, you need to fill out an application in the prescribed form. You can download the application form on the official website of the traffic police https://www.gibdd.ru or take it from your local office. If you do not want to fill out the application in person, you can contact a specialized company. These exist at every traffic police department. A specialist will fill out your application, which will help you avoid unnecessary problems.
Step 2
In the application, indicate the name of the registration department of the State Traffic Inspectorate, your full name, information about the owner of the car. If you are the owner, indicate your details: date of birth, passport information, place of residence, citizenship, gender, TIN.
Step 3
The next field to fill out is information about the vehicle. The VIN of the car, make, model and engine number, manufacturer's name, year of manufacture, body number, chassis number, color, engine displacement, vehicle passport data, car value are indicated here. You can find all the data on your car in the Title. There is a separate box in the application to fill out if it is not the owner of the car who is contacting him, but his representative.
Step 4
On the reverse side of the statement, marks are made by an employee of the State Traffic Inspectorate. He indicates the number of the issued transit number, vehicle data, numbers of the removed registration plates and a list of documents received from the applicant. The application is drawn up in one copy. After the car is removed from the register, notes are made in the vehicle registration and transit numbers are issued.
