Not all criminals need your entire car - some of them are willing to settle for a license plate. And in order to become a victim of such intruders, it is not at all necessary to be the owner of a beautiful or unusual number. Therefore, every car owner should take care of the protection of this inalienable attribute of the car.

Step 1
Use double-sided tape. It is not worth saving on it, because the better and stronger it is, the more chances there will be to keep your license plates. Stick the tape to the back of the license plate and the other side to the car. Even if such a structure is not very secure, criminals can save their time to overcome even such a simple defense. For better adhesion of the adhesive tape to the surface, first clean it from dust, and also degrease it - you can do this with acetone.
Step 2
Lock your license plate in a special frame, which can be one or two pieces. In the first case, the frame is simply installed over the number, creating an additional degree of protection. The frames of two elements consist not only of the outer, but also of its inner part, which is attached directly to the car. After that, a number is installed in this inner frame, and then it is closed from the outside with a second frame element and locked with a built-in lock.
Step 3
Replace the usual number plate fixing screws with so-called locks. Criminals will not be able to unscrew them with an ordinary screwdriver - this can only be done with a special key, which is sold complete with such cunning screws. Nevertheless, experienced attackers can have an impressive set of tools, which includes keys for different types of secrets. Therefore, the best solution can be called the manufacture of such screws to order - this is a guarantee that only you will own the right wrench.
Step 4
Use the unthreaded bolts on the inside of the bumper. Removing a number mounted on such bolts is as simple and quick as the one that is screwed on with ordinary nuts. It will be possible to steal a license plate on such bolts only with a bumper, and such maneuvers are unlikely to go unnoticed by others.
