Any car owner is faced with the issue of the safety of his car. And, as practice shows, wherever your "iron horse" is located, whether it is a paid parking lot, a secure garage or just a convenient place under the window, you cannot be sure that your car is completely safe. Fortunately, a wide selection of modern alarms helps to increase the level of security of your car, but, unfortunately, not always a simple motorist can install it without anyone's help.
Instructions
Step 1
Select the alarm itself. Alarms of various types have a specific set of functions, ranging from "wild" sounds when trying to break into your car and ending with a sensor showing the location of your car. It is not difficult to guess that the functionality of the device depends on its cost, and the higher the cost, the more reliable it is. Don't be stingy, a little extra investment can save your car.
Step 2
After selecting and purchasing an alarm, proceed with the installation process. The first step is to disassemble the car panel. This is the perfect place to hide the alarm and shock sensor as it is hard to reach and is unlikely to steal your car if a thief decides to disassemble the dashboard while stealing the car to remove the alarm.
Step 3
Tap off the ignition switch wire. You can recognize it by the illuminated plus as soon as you start the car. You will also need to make a tap from the wire that beeps when the doors are open. If your alarm is equipped with a siren, run a pair of wires into the engine compartment and the same wire to the hood. As a rule, the signaling power is supplied from the power fuse, so make a branch to it too.
Step 4
Pull all the wires that were collected during installation to the antenna unit. And your last step is to connect the wires to the central lock of the car. With some types of security systems, this is quite problematic; you may have to connect through the door by inserting an activator into it.
Step 5
The circuit only seems complicated until you personally start wielding wires. And if you buy a more modern system, then most likely the installation process will take only a few minutes. So do not be afraid to do this operation yourself, and remember that the main thing is to get started.
