To protect the car from intruders, connect the siren. Correct installation of the device will allow it to emit a signal even if the hijacker succeeds in damaging the wires.

Instructions
Step 1
A standard stand-alone siren has black and red wires, which are respectively connected to the vehicle ground and to the positive of the battery. When connecting the siren ground, use a nut on the body or a standard welded bolt.
Step 2
Plus, connect to the alarm supply wire closer to the connector. This will protect the siren with a fuse, and if the alarm harness under the hood is suddenly cut, the signal will turn on due to loss of power.
Step 3
Pay attention to the presence of two more wires that serve to sound the siren. Connect one of the wires to the alarm control wire. Pay attention to the signal that appears on the wire in the "Panic" mode: if a "+" signal appears, use a positive trigger, when a ground signal "-" appears, use a negative trigger.
Step 4
By connecting the siren in this way, you will ensure the passage of the main consumption through the power cable from the battery, while only low-current control will pass from the alarm. So, if you wish, you will always be able to connect an additional simple siren.
Step 5
Most of the sirens must be turned on with a key. Even if an intruder damages the wires, the siren will still continue to make a sound, powered by its own battery. Therefore, constantly check its condition. To do this, disconnect the terminal of the standard battery or remove the alarm fuse when the siren is turned on with a key.
Step 6
You can connect an autonomous siren with protection against disconnecting the signaling connector using the standard connector. If there is an unused wire in it, for example, an output to an additional channel or a door trigger, then cut the printed wire and solder the jumper inside the board. Having become a power wire, this contact will allow the siren to turn on due to the built-in battery.
