The injector plays a huge role in the operation of the vehicle's fuel system. A clogged injector can result in significant fuel consumption, reduced engine power, unstable idle operation, and jerking of the vehicle during acceleration.

Instructions

Step 1

Currently, most filling companies sell low-quality fuels containing water, dirt, sulfur, benzene and olefin. During combustion, these impurities accumulate in the form of tarry deposits in the fuel lines, rail and on the surfaces of the injectors. In this case, the nozzles are covered with a dark, hard-to-clean varnish crust. Clogged injectors significantly reduce the performance of the vehicle engine.

Step 2

A preventive way to clean the injector is to pour a cleaning additive into the gas tank every 5000-6000 kilometers. One bottle of such a product is designed for 60-80 liters of fuel. This cleaning agent is quite affordable and is sold in almost every car dealership. Typically, this method is used to clean the injectors in relatively new cars.

Step 3

Do not clean the contaminated injector with a solvent, as dirt deposits from the gas tank can reach the injectors and the rail through the fuel lines. As a result, dirt will permanently clog the intake ports and settle on the nylon filters of the injectors. In addition, the use of a solvent is ineffective in removing deposits inside the sprayer. As a result, the use of additives becomes not only very dangerous, but also in vain.

Step 4

Another, more effective method of cleaning the injector is to add special equipment using adapters to the injector ramp. This procedure is performed with the fuel filter, fuel lines and gas tank disconnected. Then the motor runs for 40-50 minutes on a special flushing mixture, which is transferred under a pressure of 5-6 atmospheres. During this time, the flushing agent removes dirt from the combustion chamber, valve, rail and nozzles. After the procedure, it is imperative to replace the old candles with new ones. In order to remove the remnants of the flushing mixture from the fuel system of the engine, it is necessary to drive the car for several kilometers at high speed. This cleaning method is relatively inexpensive, as it does not require much effort when dismantling the ramp and nozzles, and cleaning agents can easily clean the injector.
