Instructions
Step 1
Despite the difficulty of eliminating the malfunction that has arisen, it is not required to remove the gearbox to replace the worn oil seal on the front wheel drive shaft.
Step 2
To perform the agreed repair, in preparation for it, it is enough to dismantle the front wheel drive.
Step 3
After that, the oil seal is removed from its original place with a screwdriver without any complications.
Step 4
Then the outer surface of the new oil seal is covered with a small amount of Litol-24 grease, and it is carefully inserted into the gearbox housing.
Step 5
At this point, it is necessary to ensure that the oil seal is seated without distortions.
Step 6
Further, tapping with a hammer through a wooden extension on the outer part of the gland, it is finally pressed into place at the installation site.
Step 7
After assembling the drive, the car is again suitable for further operation.
