Instructions

Step 1

Decorate the ceiling with ceiling tiles or plastic panels, or make a frame ceiling that is made of gypsum plasterboard (plasterboard sheets). In the latter case, the ceiling can be made not only single-level, but also multi-level. In combination with small lamps, it will look great. Another option is to install a stretch ceiling. It can be combined with drywall.

Step 2

Use liquid wallpaper, which looks quite unusual and perfectly hides small cracks.

Step 3

If a crack has appeared in one of the joints of the floors, you first need to expand the joint by digging it out with a spatula at an angle of 45o and gouging out everything unnecessary from the crack. Next, prime the surface, glue the serpyanka, cover it with a Fügenfüller (plaster putty with polymer additives for seams) and then remove the irregularities with a sandpaper. Now apply the putty and sandpaper the joint again, then re-prime the ceiling. Now you can start painting.

Step 4

If the cracks are scattered over the entire surface of the ceiling, you need to proceed as follows: remove the old putty, prime the ceiling and putty it again in two layers. Then glue the fiberglass, apply putty in one layer, sand and paint.

Step 5

You can do without serpyanka. Clean the crack from dust and dirt, prime it in a couple of layers, apply a coating waterproofing. Then apply CE-86 dry mixture with a rubber spatula. The same mixture is also used for finishing putty after the mortar has dried in cracks.
