Checking and subsequent adjustment of the injectors is carried out by a qualified technician at a special stand, to which it is necessary to deliver the indicated parts of the fuel system dismantled from the engine.

During the inspection, a specialist first of all determines the tightness of the nozzle itself. After that, he determines the degree of pressure on the manometer at the time of opening and closing the spray needle. If discrepancies with the required parameters are detected, the nozzles are adjusted, which are equipped with a smooth or step adjustment mechanism.

During smooth adjustment of the degree of pressure required to raise the shut-off needle, it is carried out by a screw equipped with a lock nut.

In the course of the stepwise - the degree of required pressure is regulated by the selection of washers of a certain thickness.

When checking the injectors, the degree and angle of fuel atomization by the spray of the specified device are visually examined. If the quality of the sprayed fuel is in doubt from the master, then he will recommend replacing the sprayer. And it's better to listen to his advice and replace an unreliable atomizer.
