Step 1

If foci of corrosion have struck the supporting structure of the body, then it is necessary to cut out the affected parts to pure metal, and weld metal patches in their place. For patches, try to select the metal of the same thickness that was used to make the body of your car.

Explore all closed areas of the body. Rot could appear in them. If there are rotten spots on your body, then you need to clean them up to bare metal.

Degrease the entire body with a special liquid or high concentration soap solution. Apply the first coat of putty. It is best to add fiberglass to it. This will not only give the body strength, but also protect it from premature corrosion.

After the first layer, identify all the weak points. Degrease the entire surface again. Apply a second coat of putty. Try to make it as thin as possible. Leave the body to dry.
Step 7
Degrease the surface again. Apply the first coat of paint. Move very smoothly. Do not repaint the same part several times, otherwise there will be a thicker layer of paint in some places.
Step 8
Let the first layer dry a little. After that, once again degrease the entire surface. Apply a second layer. If this is not enough, then paint the body with a few more layers.
Step 9
Let the paint dry completely. After that, get a polishing machine and several different types of grinding wheels. Start with the largest bore circle and gradually reduce the dimension. After that, wash the entire body, dry it and degrease it.
Step 10
Apply two coats of clear polish. Leave the vehicle in a spray booth until it is completely dry.
