Many car owners are faced with the need to replace any spare parts. As a rule, anyone can handle this. And in order to put another engine, you will need some knowledge not only of mechanics, but also of the stages of work.
Instructions
Step 1
Remove the attachment, then the receiver, rail and exhaust manifold. Put the engine on its native mountings, connect it to the gearbox (you may need to replace the starter, since it has some differences, or a number of gears and GPs should be replaced in advance). Due to the difference in the dimensions of the clutch housing, there will be problems with its installation. To do this, replace the flywheel and install the clutch. Or take the flywheel and the new crown to the turner, who will grind it and press the crown, which at the same time lightens the part.
Step 2
Buy an old-style rail with a return flow to avoid problems with changing the fuel pump and laying a new fuel line. When installing the receiver, do not fix it, but first push through the ramp with the nozzles, insert them into the wells and screw the ramp, and then put the receiver in place and screw it on.
Step 3
Reinstall the attachment and do the wiring. You can leave your own ignition coil by replacing only the high-voltage wires. Extend the wiring to the injector control and to the phase sensor by about 40 cm. Lead the wires to the oil pressure sensors.
Step 4
Replace the catalytic converter exhaust manifold and adjust the cooling system.
Step 5
Install the generator on the native bracket, leave the belt the same. Do the firmware and calibration of the injectors in a car service. The decorative engine cover can also be retained with a slight cut at the front.
Step 6
Depending on the type of engine, the necessary changes and improvements may be either more or less. The main thing is that the time and money spent bring the desired result.
