If you bought a car in the countries of the European Union or the CIS and arrived in Russia, you will soon face the problem of temporary restrictions on the import of the car.
It is necessary
- - documents for the car,
- - rights,
- - an import permit for three months.
Instructions
Step 1
There are temporary restrictions on the import of cars from the countries of the European Union and the CIS countries, namely, three months of stay on the territory of our state. Therefore, it is necessary to extend this period so as not to get into an unpleasant situation and not be fined. To do this, you should first find out where this issue is being dealt with.
Step 2
Do not forget to take with you the necessary list of documents, without which the renewal of the permit will not be carried out: you must have the citizenship of the country in which the car was purchased; a passenger declaration that was issued at customs upon entry into the country; owner's passport and photocopy with registration data; registration certificate for the car; insurance and photocopy.
Step 3
If you arrived by car to Moscow or to a city located near our capital, then it is most convenient to carry out an extension for import only at one address: Prospekt Mira, house 119, building 229 (near the All-Russian Exhibition Center). It should be noted that entry to the VDNKh territory is paid and is carried out from three directions, which do not always work around the clock. Therefore, find out in advance at what time you can visit the company to renew the permit for the import of foreign cars.
Step 4
If you are far from Moscow, you can use the services provided by the state customs. Each given institution has a specialist who is involved in the renewal of the permit. Some customs offices require an application first. If the queue is long, then it will take some time to check documents and car numbers.
