Removing the headlight on each car is different - on some cars, to perform this operation, it is enough to raise the hood, while on others you have to remove the bumper, for example, as for a Peugeot car.
Instructions
Step 1
Raise the hood of the vehicle. After that, find the two self-tapping screws that are right under the hood. Unscrew them and remove the plastic holders with which the bumper is attached to the amplifier. From the bottom, remove the screws for attaching to the plastic protection. Then locate the bumper-to-fender bolt.
Step 2
To do this, first turn the wheels to the right in order to get close to the mount on the left side. After that, bend the wheel arch liner and unscrew the bolt with a 10 mm head. Then turn the steering wheel to the left side and remove the bolt on the right side. Set all parts aside to avoid losing them. Apply a small amount of force by pulling the bumper slightly to the side to disengage it from the fender. Do a similar procedure on the opposite side of the wing.
Step 3
If you don't want to remove the entire bumper, you can detach the logo grille, but you will have to try very hard not to break the plastic holders. Otherwise, you will have to order a new grille or repair the existing one.
Step 4
Once the headlamp is accessible from both the top and bottom, take a suitable wrench and unscrew the bolts that secure it. Then grab it and pull it towards you. Pushing it out, carefully disconnect the electrical connectors that fit the headlight. On some models, the turn signal connector causes difficulty, to disconnect which you need to slightly pick up the metal bracket and pull it up.
Step 5
After disconnecting the connectors, remove the headlamp completely. If necessary, do the same with the other headlamp. After completing all the necessary work, reassemble in the reverse order, while checking the parts for defects and malfunctions.
