- It is possible to remove the ignition switch, or rather, to dismantle its switch, only after the dashboard has been removed. Therefore, first dismantle the dashboard, then the steering wheel lock will be accessible from above.
- Remove the protective varnish and unscrew the two small screws that are located on the left and right sides of the fastening elements with the steering wheel lock switches.
- After that, you can proceed directly to the removal of the ignition switch. To do this, just push it back and gently lift it.
- If you plan to replace the old ignition switch with a new one, be sure to pay attention when installing it to how accurately the drive pin of the switch fits into the recess of the switch. To secure the ignition switch, screw in the side screws and apply a coat of protective lacquer on top.
