Native audio systems in Lada Kalina cars are installed only in “norm” and “luxury” versions. Such an "addition" will cost an ordinary buyer four thousand rubles. Many car enthusiasts prefer to install speakers and a radio tape recorder in this car themselves, choosing the technique they like. Installing your equipment will void your warranty, so if you bought a new car, consider this.
Instructions
Step 1
It is better to install the speakers in the front doors of the car or in the trunk shelf - it is easy to connect them there due to the existing wiring, and they will perfectly fit into the interior of the car. However, the installation locations are limited only by your imagination. To work you need screwdrivers and a sharp knife.
Step 2
Remove the front door trim. To do this, disconnect from the battery the wire that goes from the negative terminal. Remove the front and rear screws that secure the upholstery trim.
Step 3
Squeeze the door opening handle towards you, unscrew the screw that secures it, remove it. Remove the bolts that hold the upholstery underneath, press it out so that the holders come out of their holes in the door. Disconnect the wiring blocks that control the power windows and door interlocks, and then remove the trim.
Step 4
Cut holes in the upholstery, the diameter of which should be slightly larger than the diameter of the speakers. Install them and, observing the polarity, connect the speakers to the existing wiring in the car door. Carefully read the instructions that came with the speakers, follow them. Install the upholstery in the reverse order.
Step 5
To install the speakers in the trunk, remove the shelf and cut holes for the audio system in it. At the wheel arches in the side upholstery of the luggage compartment, there is a wiring to which you connect the speakers, then fix them and put the shelf in place.
