It is necessary

  • - screwdrivers with flat and cross-shaped blades;
  • - ratchet with a cruciform bat;
  • - protective gloves and cloth

Instructions

Step 1

Before starting work, wear protective gloves and place any cloth on the dashboard to protect it from scratches. Disconnect the battery by disconnecting the negative wire from its terminal. Make sure you have a pin code for the radio. You will need it to turn on the system after installing it.

Step 2

Remove the lower part of the Nissan Almera center console (near the gear lever). To do this, remove the mat under the sliding cup holders. Gently pry 2 grooves under it with a flat screwdriver. Then firmly pull it towards you, holding on to its sides with both hands. A serviceable part can be removed easily. Carefully inspect the center console to the left and right of the head unit of the radio. Locate the two mounting screws and remove them with a Phillips screwdriver.

Step 3

Gently lift the upper half of the console by holding the lower half and gently pull it towards you. In this case, the three latches located at the top of the back of the display should disengage. Disengagement will be signaled by a characteristic click. Look into the space formed between the radio and the console. Locate the wire harness and two connectors and disconnect them by pressing on the latches with a screwdriver.

Step 4

Find the metal bracket that holds the radio and the four mounting screws on it. Remove the plastic plugs and carefully unscrew them, taking measures to prevent the loss of these screws. Unscrew the screws with a ratchet, since they are tightened to the last, and it is difficult to unscrew with a screwdriver.

Step 5

When installing the radio, proceed in the reverse order to that described. After connecting the battery and turning on the device, the system will ask you to enter the code. Find the code combination number on the plastic radio card supplied with the new car. Or ask Nissan for this information.

Step 6

Enter the code sequentially, using buttons 1, 2, 3 and 4. Enter the first digit by pressing button 1 as many times as necessary to set the desired value of the first digit. To enter the next digit of the code and confirm the combination, press the button on the right and indicated by an arrow pointing up.
