Hyundai cars have a built-in standard audio system, which any motorist wants to change over time. To do this, you need to remove the old radio tape recorder and install a new one. However, this is not so easy to do, and in order to replace audio systems on a Hyundai Solaris car, you need to know some of the principles of its design. There are several options for performing this procedure, depending on the specific car brand and, in fact, the radio itself.

Step 1
Try to remove the head unit using assembly keys. They usually come with the car. Insert them into the space provided for this on both sides of the radio. When the keys are inserted correctly, they should snap into place. Pull the keys gently and the radio will come out.
Step 2
If you can't find the mounting keys, try removing the radio by disassembling the plastic panel around it. To do this, use a screwdriver with which to pick up the plastic parts. After you remove the plastic frame, unscrew the bolts that secure the radio to the body. Pull out the radio. However, remember that the principle of the plastic panel is different on different Hyundai models.
Step 3
If you need to remove the car radio for Hyundai Accent, first remove the decorative plastic trim that is located along the dashboard. It is usually attached with caps. Remove the air duct on the right and left. Behind them are four bolts that need to be unscrewed. Now you can pull out the radio.
Step 4
To remove the radio in a Hyundai Elantra, follow the instructions below. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Remove the emergency pad by pulling it out with a commercially available screwdriver. Make sure that the clip is locked. Loosen the screws and remove the center panel. Then remove the connectors. Next, free yourself of the mounting screws, after which you can safely remove the audio device.
Step 5
In all cases, carry out all operations very carefully to remove plastic parts, since they are very easy to damage. And buying new ones is quite problematic, since it is very difficult to find original parts specifically for your car model on sale. Also, make sure that small parts and bolts are not lost when changing the radio.
